[Vivian:] Daughter with her father's ambition and stubbornness. Is a bit rebellious. Insecure about her own infertility and takes medicine for it.

[Virginia:] Uptight ex-ballerina who was forced to stop for her own declining health. Is now a bit of an insecure, strict mother, and works for her husband's company.

The Everhardts own an incredibly successful publishing company and being considered one of those in high society, they pressure themselves to appear perfect, but it's not quite the same behind closed doors.
Marrying just to marry, having a family just to have a family, thinking it is what's expected of them.
