(Featuring OC Virginia Everhardt in her youth, fighting a measuring tape.)
Being the middle child of a family with two other sisters and strict parents, Virginia was molded to be the essence of perfection. Maybe it was out of duty, or out of the desire to seek acknowledgement from her parents that she kept pushing. Her jealous sisters who shamed her didn't help with the pressure of staying in the shape the world around her wanted her to be in, and neither did the parents who put her on a pedestal, and punished her when she faltered.
Eventually she found she was slowly losing to the pressure put on her by both the world and herself.
